On March 31, 2024, we formulated "Mitsubishi Kakoki Group's Policy for Human Rights," so that all executives and employees of the Mitsubishi Kakoki Group would share a mindset for respecting human rights and put it into practice.

Basic policy for human rights
The Mitsubishi Kakoki Group recognizes that the respect for human rights is an important corporate social responsibility, and supports and respects international norms regarding human rights, including " the International Bill of Human Rights" ( "the Universal Declaration of Human Rights," " the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights," and "the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights") and "The International Labour Organization's Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work."
Scope of application
This policy applies to all executives and employees (full-time employees, contract employees, and temporary workers) of the Mitsubishi Kakoki Group. We also hope that this policy will be understood and supported by business partners and suppliers related to the businesses, products, and services of the Mitsubishi Kakoki Group.
Responsibility for respecting human rights
The Mitsubishi Kakoki Group fulfills this responsibility by understanding and preventing the possible negative effects of business activities on human rights, and implementing appropriate corrective measures if our business activities cause or increase any negative effects on human rights. We will conduct responsible labor practices regarding human rights that are internationally recognized, including the prohibition of discrimination and harassment, the securing of equal remuneration for work with the same value to male and female workers, the prohibition of human trafficking, the elimination of forced labor and child labor, the approval for the rights of freedom of association and collective bargaining, and the provision of a healthy, safe working environment, and cope with potential negative effects on human rights of stakeholders. In addition, we will encourage our business partners and suppliers involved in our value chain to make efforts to prevent negative effects on human rights, and take appropriate measures if any negative effects emerge. Like this, we will make efforts not to have a hand in or be involved in the infringement of human rights directly or indirectly.
Due diligence for human rights
The Mitsubishi Kakoki Group identifies and evaluates actual and potential negative effects of business activities and the value chain on human rights, in accordance with the United Nations' "Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights," and develops a system for due diligence for human rights in order to prevent or mitigate the negative effects. In addition, the Mitsubishi Kakoki Group keeps evaluating the effects of its initiatives to check and continuously improve their effectiveness, and discloses the details of the initiatives for respecting human rights timely and appropriately.
Dialogues and discussions
The Mitsubishi Kakoki Group continuously holds dialogues and discussions with stakeholders in good faith, when putting this policy into practice.
Education and training
The Mitsubishi Kakoki Group conducts appropriate education and training for executives and employees, so that this policy will be followed and applied effectively in all business activities, and makes efforts to foster a corporate culture that respects human rights.
Correction and relief
If the Mitsubishi Kakoki Group causes, induces, or has a hand in causing negative effects on human rights or is suspected of doing so through business activities, we will take corrective or relief measures with appropriate means for identifying the cause and preventing recurrence. Furthermore, we will maintain and upgrade an effective consultation system, and strive to eliminate negative effects on human rights and take relief measures.
Governance and systems for it
In the Mitsubishi Kakoki Group," Sustainability Committee," in which the president serves as general manager, discusses policies, measures, etc. for solving the issues regarding human rights. In addition, the status of compliance with this policy is regularly reported at a meeting of the board of directors, and the initiatives for respecting human rights are promoted under the supervision of the board of directors.

Applicable laws and regulations
The Mitsubishi Kakoki Group observes the laws and regulations in countries and regions where we conduct business activities, and if there is any discrepancy between the internationally recognized principles for human rights and domestic laws, we will pursue methods that respect the internationally recognized principles for human rights to the maximum degree.
