Examples of social contribution activities
Implementation of activities to preserve forests
We endorse "Kanagawa 50-Year Scheme for Forest Restoration" set by Kanagawa Prefecture and have been supporting the activities for passing an abundance of natural blessings in forests to the next generation as a partner in forest restoration since April 2023. The forest we have supported was named "The Mitsubishi Kakoki Forest We Make Together," based on ideas submitted by our employees. We are planning to engage in various activities for forest preservation from now on.
Supporting single-parent families
Mitsubishi Kakoki Kaisha and Kawasui concluded an official supporter contract in 2020. When discussing possible methods for utilizing the complimentary tickets provided to employees as benefits of official supporters for supporting families and children in each region, as the contract period will be extended until July 2026, we decided to support the activities of "Koala-no-kai," a member of Kawasaki City Council for Social Welfare for Fatherless Families and Widows "Tsukushi-kai," through the introduction by Kawasui.
Support for "activities for assisting disabled people in becoming independent"
Mitsubishi Kakoki Kaisha agrees with the ethos of Shougaisha Jiritsu Suishin Kikou Association (operated by Paralym Art): "to develop a world where disabled people can realize their dreams with fine arts," and supports its activities as a partner. In addition, the work drawn as a benefit of a partner company was used as the front cover of the integrated report for this fiscal year. From now on, we will use such artworks for other publications, etc.
