Mitsubishi Kakoki has signed the UN Global Compact (GC)

Mitsubishi Kakoki Kaisha, Ltd. has signed the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and registered as a participating company on January 9th of this year. The company also joined the Global Compact Network Japan, which is comprised of Japanese companies and organizations that are UNGC signatories.

The UNGC is the world's largest sustainability initiative, bringing together the United Nations and the private sector (companies and organizations) to build a healthy global society.

Companies and organizations that sign the UNGC endorse 10 principles in the four areas of human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption, and are required to continue working to achieve these principles under the personal commitment of their corporate leadership.

By joining the UNGC, we will further strengthen our responsible corporate behavior in line with international trends, with a view to achieving "Sustainable development and a comfortable society," as set forth in the Mitsubishi Kakoki Group 2050 Management Vision. We will accelerate our efforts to meet global standards in order to resolve social issues and build a sustainable future.
