Management Vision for 2050

Amid the significant change in the business environment surrounding the Mitsubishi Kakoki Group, we established the "Mitsubishi Kakoki Group's Management Vision for 2050" in 2021 under the vision statement of "Endeavoring to realize sustainable development and realizing a comfortable society," in order to continue our sustainable growth. We will endeavor to realize the vision by clarifying five social issues our corporate group should solve, pursuing four strategic business domains, and establishing a new business portfolio for addressing social issues.

Five social issues

We defined five social issues we should solve by utilizing the know-how nurtured through "appropriate response to trends" and "technologies for manufacturing and engineering that would help solve social issues" by 2050 as "CO2 emissions and climate change," "recycling of resources," "water and food," "natural disaster," and "shortage of manpower."

Five social issues

*1: Total number of cases of floods, abnormal weather, landslides, droughts, and wildfire

*2: People aged 65 years or older were defined as elderly people

Four strategic business fields

In order to address the five social issues, we aim to establish four strategic business domains: "business for realizing a sustainable recycling-based society," "hydrogen-based clean energy business," "labor-saving and energy-saving business utilizing digital technology," and "business of developing next-generation technologies for solving issues about water, food, natural disaster, etc." by pursuing existing business and acquiring new business.
