Pioneer of hydrogen generation "HyGeia" Small-Scale On-Site Hydrogen Generation Plants

HyGeia : Small-Scale On-Site Hydrogen Generation Plants

Name. Byname. Abbreviation

HyGeia, on-site and compact hydrogen production equipment, compact hydrogen production unit, small hydrogen plant, hydrogen generation system

-Origin of Name-
HyGeia is an abbreviation of Hydrogen Generation-system "Improved Apparatus" and is named for the goddess of health (Hygeia) in Greek mythology.

General Description

This hydrogen generation system is targeting smaller users, for example semiconductor mfr, fiber optics mfr, silica glass mfr, oil and fats mfr and metal heat treatment processor, which one-hour consumption amount is between 50Nm3 and 200Nm3/hr. This system makes 99.999% hydrogen from city gas or LPG.

Features

  1. High Efficiency
By adopting a thoroughgoing energy-saving design, the system reduces feedstock consumption by more than 20% in comparison with conventional systems, and also reduces hydrogen generating costs.
  2. Compact Size
As a result of a sweeping design review, the installation space requirement was reduced to 1/2 (approx. 9m2) that of conventional systems.
  3. Complete Automation
This high-reliability system reflects MKK¡Çs wealth of experience in the operation of compact hydrogen generation systems. Standard equipment includes an operating sequence which responds automatically to starts, stops, and load changes.
  4. Simplified Installation
The new system adopts a skid-mount system, including the feedstock compressor and off-gas holder, for easy installation and simplified site construction work.
