LNG satellite station, LNG satellite station for city gas generation, industrial
LNG satellite station
|
|
MKK designs and constructs LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) satellite stations
incorporating the latest vaporization technologies, in addition to closed-circulation
LNG vaporization systems (2001 Japan Gas Association engineering prize
winner) and MKK type calorific control systems (1999 Japan Gas Association
engineering prize winner).

Closed-circulation vaporization system
¦ÂClosed structure prevents emission of chill-induced white smoke. ¦ÂContinuous round-the-clock operation is possible. ¦ÂStand-by and hot-water vaporizing equipment are not required. ¦ÂSwitching of vaporizing equipment and de-icing are not required. ¦ÂLow running cost ¦ÂAtmospheric heat is used as the heat source for circulating air. ¦ÂConversion from existing LNG vaporizing equipment is possible. LPG-NG calorific control system ¦ÂLow cost, space saving ¦ÂNatural gas and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) are mixed and heated in one unit. ¦ÂNG heater is not required. ¦ÂLow-level heat source (15?20¡ëC) is effectively used. ¦ÂPressure loss is limited. ¦ÂLarge tolerance for load fluctuations |

¦ÂCity gas generation
¦ÂIndustrial use |
|
| ¦ÂSatellite station | : City gas generation plant with small-scale LNG storage and vaporizing equipment for regasification. LNG is trucked to the satellite station from a large-scale LNG station. |
| ¦ÂCalorific control system | : System used to mix LNG and LPG per calorie of city gas (13A: 11,000 kcal/NM3). |
