LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) Satellite Station

MKK designs and constructs liquefied natural gas (LNG) satellite stations that provide the best solution for customers and incorporate the latest vaporization technologies. These include a Closed-circulation LNG vaporization system (winner of 2001 Japan Gas Association Engineering Prize) and the MKK Calorific Value Control System (winner of 1999 Japan Gas Association Engineering Prize).

Features

Closed-circulation Vaporization System

  • Closed structure prevents emission of chill-induced white fog.
  • Continuous round-the-clock operation.
  • Requires no vaporizer stand-by or hot-water vaporizer.
  • Requires no dynamic load switching or defrosting.
  • Low running cost.
  • Uses ambient air as the main heat source for circulating air.
  • Conversion from existing conventional LNG vaporizers is possible.

LPG-NG calorific value control system

  • Low cost, space saving.
  • Natural gas and LPG in liquid state mixed up and heated in one unit.
  • Requires no NG heater.
  • Makes effective use of low-level heat source (15-20°C).
  • Low pressure losses.
  • High turn down ratio
