Young filter, continuous rotary vacuum filter, YF

The Mitsubishi Young Filter is a cylindrical single-chamber type filtration unit. Compared with conventional multi-chamber filters, it offers superior filtering and cake-washing capabilities and finds a wide range of uses with the following outstanding features.

1. Excellent filtering capability
   Filtering capability is quite high, thanks to the single-chamber structure, high filter drum porosity and large filtrate pipe sectional area.
2. Superior cake-washing effect
3. The rotation speed of the filter drum can be accelerated to increase the treatment amount.
4. Recovery of thin cake
   Cake is separated by intermittent vibration of loosely installed filter cloth with blow-back air from inside the filter drum. This enables cake as thin as 1 mm to be easily recovered.
5. Limited loading of filter cloth
   Constantly exposed to blow-back air, the filter cloth is less loaded and lasts longer than in other type filters.
6. Easy to maintain
   The single structure and small number of component parts make the Young Filter easy to maintain and suited for continuous operation.
