Pressurized filter, Schneider filter, automatic filter-paper replacement type pressurized filter, SF

The Mitsubishi Schneider Filter is a new pressurized filter designed to strain feed liquid through filter paper inserted between stacked horizontal filtration plates. It enables automatic replacement of used filter paper with the filtration plate stack opened.
The Mitsubishi Schneider Filter, an epochal machine that enables in-process automatic filter paper change considered difficult to perform, is not only a great energy saver but also contributes to full-scale factory automation.

Compared with conventional pressurized filters using filter paper, the Mitsubishi Schneider Filter has the following salient features.

1. Labor saving, thanks to automatic filter paper change
2. Having a horizontal structure to ensure uniform case formation, the filter is best suited for stable precision filtration.
3. A uniform precoat layer can be formed with a small quantity of filter aid.
4. The special sealing system ensures freedom from leakage from filtration plates.

6. Independent filtration chamber (standard filtration area: 1 m2) facilitates cake drying.
7. The combination of a variety of filter paper and filter aids provides a wide range of filtration capability.

¦èiltration plate and filtration plate stack

A vertical stack of two horizontal square filtration plates forms a filtration chamber, and the stack is increased in number according to the required treatment capacity.

¦èiltration plate opening and closing device

A pressure jack on top of the filtration plate stack lifts the filtration plates up and down to open and close for changing the filter paper.

Filter paper is held in a rolled form on the paper rack and delivered to individual filtration chambers.

¦òaper extractor

Both the pin and roll methods are available for filter paper change; in the pin method, the filter paper is impaled on spikes and moves out to be extracted, and in the roll method, the filter paper rolls out to be extracted.
