Circumstances involving ships have changed recently as the number of crewmembers decrease and sludge disposal control intensifies for marine environmental protection. MKK has developed the Mitsubishi Sludge Buster, a next-generation oil purifier suitable for such changes. Different from the SJ and not a filter, this model makes the most of MKK’s engineering experience accumulated over more than sixty years in the manufacture of oil purifiers and proven oil purifier technology.
The Mitsubishi Sludge Buster is capable of continuous purification and sludge discharge without adjustment, greatly facilitating sludge disposal. Unlike the conventional SJ Series, it uses neither sealing water nor replacement water and therefore has no sludge tank. It is maintenance-free and does not require inboard overhaul.

The Mitsubishi Sludge Buster offers a wide range of uses, not only for the treatment of marine fuel and lubricating oils but also for the purification of land-use oils and coolants, and the removal of machining chips.
