Now Mitsubishi Kakoki Kaisha, Ltd. has renewed "Advanced Unit",
AU series, a standard unit of Mitsubishi oil purifier SJ-G series for marine
use. Having designed AU series, MKK took advices from ship owners and shipyards.
It follows that AU series becomes more useful and easy to be installed.
Also, AU series is contributing to the simple installation work and the
cost saving construction.
The standard unit consists of an oil purifier, SJ-G series, a starter,
a detector, a suction pump, a heater and valves for automatic control.
[Features of renewed AU series]
- Simple layout of pipes and instruments leads a less installation work at
the dog yard.
- The control panel fits well the direction of worker’s movement.
- Small and lightweight plate-type heater occupies a little space in the
standard unit.
- Depending on the size of oil purifier, there’re 3 types of the standard
units. But they all use the same instruments. That means to standardize
the design in the shipyard.
- Shell & tube type heater, independent suction pump, sludge transfer
system and twin standard units are prepared as options.

Price of AU series is as follows; the small one is \1.5million, the middle
one is \1.8million and the large one is \2.1million. The price doesn’t
include the oil purifier itself.
