MKK Focus on Hydrogen Station (Winning of Orders for Hydrogen station).

é®KK (President: Satoru Hatano) is putting big stress on providing an engineering package of the hydrogen station including a steam-reforming hydrogen generation unit.

é©ydrogen is an exceptionally clean energy source. The fuel cell vehicles, which are powered by the hydrogen, need the hydrogen station. Thus, the increase of those fuel cell vehicles will accelerate lots of the hydrogen station.

é®KK has been a pioneer in the development of the hydrogen generation technology since 1963, then the first hydrogen product plant was delivered. After that, MKK has delivered 62 large-scale hydrogen product plants (Capacity: 1000 m3/hr) and 18 middle-scale hydrogen product plants (Capacity: 100-1000 m3/hr). Besides, MKK developed small-scale, energy-saving and low-price hydrogen product plants (Capacity: up to 100 m3/hr) together with Tokyo Gas Group in 1998 and has been delivered 14 plants.

é£ased on the numerous results, MKK has sure eye for the development of the fuel cell. MKK has provided a hydrogen plant for Toho Gas Co., Ltd. Technical Research Institution Hydrogen Station, an engineering package of the hydrogen station for Yokohama Asahi Hydrogen Station under administration of Nippon Oil Corporation, a hydrogen plant of Senju Hydrogen Station under administration of Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. and providing an engineering package of hydrogen station for Hadano Hydrogen Station under administration of Idemitsu Kousan Co., Ltd.(Finish date is March 2004) The latter 3 cases are supported by the JHFC project, Engineering Advancement Association of Japan.
