Petroleum Refining, Power Generation, Petrochemicals and Chemicals

Hydrogen Generation Plants

MKK's hydrogen generation plants are engineered to meet the diverse needs of various clients, from large-scale (1,000 to over 50,000 Nm3/h) facilities for petroleum refining and petrochemicals, through middle-scale facilities for food, phermaceuticals and silicon wafers, to small-scale facilities for semiconductors, optical fibers, quartz glass, and oil and fats. In particular, for small-scale (50 to 100Nm3/h) users MKK provides a compact on-site high-purity generation plant using city gas or LPG.

Sulfur Recovery Plants

Over seventy of MKK's sulfur recovery plants, featuring high reliability and controllability, have been constructed under our technical tie-up and alliance with Parsons (USA). In addition to the conventional Claus Process sulfur recovery Plants, MKK now offers plants with a variety of H2S removal processes such as Selectox process, and oxygen enrichment process to effectively remove low-concentration hydrogen sulfide in geothermal power plant and partial oxidation reactor emissions.

Hydrogen Sulfide Removal Facilities (for Geothermal Power Plants, etc.)

MKK's hydrogen sulfide removal facilities eliminate low-concentration hydrogen sulfide from the emissions of geothermal power plants, petrochemical plants, and rayon production plants, and recover sulfur from heavy oil gasification plant emissions. The hydrogen sulfide removal ratio is 98% or higher, and the liquefied sulfur recovery ratio is 99.9% or higher, with no wastewater or by-product pollution.

Chemicals and Petrochemical Plants (organic and inorganic)

MKK has harnessed its comprehensive engineering expertise to deliver a broad range of petrochemical plants, synthetic resin plants, paint plants, and electronic grade chemicals plants.
