MKK has provided a variety of sewage treatment facilities, from small-to large-scale, including grid chamber wastewater treatment facilities (initial sedimentation, reactor, and final sedimentation), sludge treatment facilities (concentration, digestion, dewatering, and gas holder), and advanced treatment facilities (filtration, and N/P removal). MKK engineers those facilities at low cost to be highly functional and energy-efficient.

These facilities are constructed to improve the regional environment and to maintain water quality in agricultural and fishery areas. MKK has provided a variety of these facilities, from small- to large-scale, using the contact aeration method, sequencing batch reactor method, the oxidation ditch method, etc.

Leachate, collected by water-shielding sheets at the final waste disposal plant, is biologically treated with the energy- and space-saving rotating biological contactor process. As an environmental measure, we have added an additional process to remove heavy metal, dioxin and colored substances.
